Entertaining for Beginners: an Evening with Corey Mintz Ages 13 - 18 yrs

Corey Mintz, current food columnist and former restaurant critic for the Toronto Star, is happy to feed and entertain you for one special night only at the Milliken Mills Public Library!  Mr. Mintz will serve up some great food, charm you, and give you some practical tips on hosting your own dinner parties.  Take a break from studying and get some tips on how to impress your prom date!  Please register in advance.

Dreading the exam grind?  Want to be prepared but don’t know how?  An experienced guidance counselor offers surefire ways to overcome your anxieties and fears regarding exam preparation – from study tips to the actual writing of the exam.  If you’re new to writing exams or a veteran, then this workshop is for you.  Parents are also welcome.  Please bring a pencil or pen and paper to take notes.

The Volunteer Information Session provides information on Markham Public Library volunteer policies, and volunteer opportunities and responsibilities. Attendance does not guarantee a placement however it is required for anyone who is interested in volunteering at any MPL location.
