Leaf and yard material is collected every other week from March to November. Leaf and yard materials in plastic bags will not be collected. Yard waste will only be collected in open rigid containers, bushel baskets or kraft paper yard waste bags. Markham does not collect grass clippings. Please "grasscycle" your clippings with a mulching lawnmower or recycle them in your backyard composter.

• Wednesday March 31 - Area 8
  
• Thursday April 1 - Area 10
  
• Saturday April 3 – Area 2 (see Holiday schedule)
  
• Monday April 5 – Area 3
  
• Tuesday April 6 – Area 5
  
• Wednesday April 7 – Area 7
  
• Thursday April 8 – Area 9
  
• Friday April 9 – Area 1
  

Yard waste may also be dropped off at the Public Drop-off Weekend Collection Centre.
