Flight Training Activity at Buttonville Will Be Reduced on Long Weekends
Markham, ON ~ In response to a request from the Buttonville Airport Community Committee, Toronto Airways has voluntarily agreed not to conduct flight training circuits over Markham and Richmond Hill from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on each of the four long weekends this spring and summer.

The Buttonville Airport Community Committee (BACC) and Toronto Airways are working together to reduce flight training activity on long weekends. The committee, comprised of local and regional representatives from the Town of Markham and Richmond Hill and the Region of York, representatives from various aviation related companies and local residents, works to maintain harmonious relations between the airport and the communities it serves.
