Markham Concert Band - "Sea to Sky"

The Markham Concert Band performs at the Markham Theatre at 3 pm on Sunday, March 7. "Sea to Sky" is a major work by Ralph Ford describing the natural beauty of British Columbia. It features The Lion's Gate, Shannon Falls, Stawamus Chief and Beyond Whistler. Celebrate the Winter Olympics venue in music. Plus lots of toe-tapping music and some surprises! 3rd annual FIT-a-THON, a fundraiser that benefits abused women and children who resides at DR. Roz's Healing Place. Participate, pledge prizes. Participants complete and/or are challenged in various fitness activities such as high energy aerobics, dance, circuit work outs, yoga poses etc. Participants collect pre-pledges that culminate into a fitness competition which puts their fitness to the test.
