Building Inspections is guided by Manager, Anthony Boyko and assisted by Field Supervisor and Trainers, Piero Cannistra and Al Currie.

Building Inspection staff are responsible for the inspection of all new construction within the borders of the Town to ensure buildings are constructed to meet the health and safety provisions of the Ontario Building Code, the Building Code Act, the Building By-law and other applicable law and standards. Staff also perform special investigations of illegal construction and unsafe buildings.
